Blocking MyspaceiM

Does anyone out there know how to block myspaceIM using a gateway
device, such as a router? I have DD-WRT installed, and I've tried
blocking by port 1083, by keyword and by site address. Nothing has
blocked it. Using a firewall is not an option. Does anyone know how?
