3com OfficeConnect 11 a/b/g

Hello all, I purchased the 3crwe154a72 hoping I could use it in
promiscuous mode, but the drivers released with it do not seem to permit
it. I purchased it for that sole purpose (putting a sniffer on my
network). Does anyone know if this card is even capable of Promiscuous
mode, and if so, where I could find the drivers. I downlaoded some
Atheros drivers, but they still do not seem to allow it to use Promis.

Are there any cards someone would recommend. In another laptop I have a
Intel 2200bg and that supports Promisc. mode. I just need a pcmcia card
I can use in different machines. Also, if anyone has any tips for
setting up multiple sniffers (I am using ethereal) on my network I am
all ears.
