Default belkin 54g router

I have a belkin F5D7230-4 router. every 4 - 6 minutes it disconnects
and reconnects on its own. tried other channels did not help.
Any suggestions? using128 bit wep and mac address filtering for
security

I believe that the Win XP Wireless Zero Configuration has an
authentication mode. Make sure it's off.

I'll assume Windoze XP for the client. If you want useful help, try
supplying all your hardware and software names and versions.
Otherwise, my guess is:

Either turn on SSID broadcast, or disarm XP Wireless Zero Config.
