Default Comet antenna help

I just received a Comet GP-24 and have no idea how to tune
the (3) 2 inch long radials. The omni antenna I am currently using does not
have any radials. Please help, thank you.

I doubt there is much, if anything, to tune. The mfr pdf seems to be
here <http://www.cometantenna.com/pdfs/gp-24%20spec%20sheet.pdf>

I can't find any "Installation Instructions". Guessing, the radials
should be fixed at some pre marked location, but this is really a guess.

The pdf has a contact at the bottom
email: micks@cometantenna.com

<http://www.cometantenna.com> under "contact us" has this info:
NCG Companies Inc.
15036 Sierra Bonita Lane
Chino, CA 91710

Toll Fre: 800.962.2611
Phone: 909.393.6133
FAX: 909.393.6136

sales@natcommgroup.com

They made it so they should know how to install it - I'm sure someone
there can assist you.

Good luck

kc

Don't know if this is the answer you're looking for, but....

The non-radial antenna may have an internal sleeve inside that you can't
see (in a fiberglass radome?), http://inscapedata.com/OA.htm Generally, you
don't have to "tune" ground plane radials.
