DLink DI-634M w/ WRT54G as repeater?

Hi, I have a new DLink DI-634M router, and I'd like to use my old
Linksys WRT54G (with dd-wrt firmware) as a repeater. I have one
computer on the far side of my house that gets a very weak signal, so
I'd like to boost reception in that area.

While I have the Linksys on the network, the computer in question still
connects to the DLink... or I'm guessing it does, since I only have 1-2
bars and a "very low" connection reading, even though the Linksys is
only 15 feet away.

Anybody have any idea how to make this happen? I'm a networking
novice. Thanks!
