Default doing a hard reset on a linksys router

I bought a used Linksys router off of eBay and don't know the password
to it. Neither does the person I bought it from. As such, I'd like to
be able to do a hard reset. Unfortunately, I'm not really sure how...
any ideas?

Both of my LinkSys routers (B/G and B-only) have a small recessed button on
the back. Push'n'hold for about 2-sec and it should do what you want.

You might have to hold it longer than 2 seconds, more like 20 or 30. Then
the user name would be left blank and the password would be admin.
