Edimax MIMO reboot on any config change

I have the Edimax MIMO BR-6216Mg router, each time I make a chnage on
it's
management web site it has to reboot in order to activate the change.
This drops all user sessions of course.
I heared there are third party firmwares that does not suffer this
annoyance
Any assistance would be apreciated

Hi,
No option to prevent that? Some routers have it.
