Default Enabling Security on Lynksys Router

I have a Linksys Router and 2 wireless laptops in a network. I have yet to
enable security. Assume I just follow directions from the Linksys site.
When I do, will I have to log in each time with the password each time, or
is logging in once all that is necessary so as to get to the internet?

Your wireless card/adaptor should store the settings so you won't need to
enter them again. You may need to tell it to store them.
