internet gateway slow 1.0 bit/sec

I've connected my two computers to a wireless router through it's
ethernet ports
one of the computers is connected to the internet
I share the internet connection but the internet gateway seems to be
very slow / disabled
with a speed of 1.0 bit/sec
any suggestions?

my router is a Tornado 140 Wireless Broadband Router (R1.97f4 05/19)
