Default Linksys adapter wmp11 to Actiontec router mi424wr

I have a linksys wireless adapter (wmp11) in a desktop running 98se.
Verizon recently replaced my dsl modem and wireless router with an
Actiontec (mi424wr).

I have the router setup with SSID broadcast, infrastructure, channel
automatic, and WEP. All my other computers work. The linksys icon
says it connects to my network with good connection, but I can't get
internet. Can this card even be made to work with this router?

Does it connect to the other computers? If not check that the router is
set to allow "B" traffic. That's an older adapter.

Possible WEP key mismatch. Reenter all WEP keys in _hex_ (not ASCII).
