Default Linksys WVC54G internet video camera wireless not working

Hi, I have managed to get my Linksys WVC54G webcam to work ok with a
network cable, static ip address plugged into my laptop, BUT I cannot
get it to work on my wireless network.

My wireless network is hardly complex :)

wireless router static ip 192.168.1.2

broadcast channel 6 using 802.11g

The webcam has a static address of 192.168.1.115, and is configured for
infrastructure mode (also channel 6)

Out of interest, I have an HP wireless printer - this works fine (but it
uses DHCP). I have used netstumbler, but this cannot "see" the webcam.

My wireless router has information on:
----
PtP Bridge
Remote AP MAC Address
PtMP Bridge
Remote AP MAC Address
1 2
3 4
5 6
7 8
AP Repeater
Root AP MAC Address
AP Client
Root AP MAC Address
----

Can someone please give me some help in solving this one please. :-/

thanks

Miles.

Default Re: Linksys WVC54G internet video camera wireless not working

I purchased the same Webcam and I am able to broadcast and pick up the image
locally (wireless), but not able to send the signal to an external website.
I have a Belkin Pre-N wireless router.
I have spent hours with support, both from Belkin and Linksys and got
nowhere. They keep pointing to the other manufacturer.
Any help would be appreciated
AP
