Netgear 624v3 flashing Wireless Indicator

I have just brought up a Netgear WGT624v3 wireless router. It replaced a
Netgear WGR614v6 wireless router. While everything appears to be working
perfectly I notice that the wireless indicator light is pulsing at a little
more than one flash a second. Is this normal? The WGR614 did not flash like
this.
