What does the asterisk (*) or the plus (+) mean beside the channel

Go to bottom of page and insert "SNR+"
Also:
http://www.netstumbler.org/printthread.php?t=1797

CATEGORY: NetStumbler - General

Q: What is the difference between SNR+ and SNR in Netstumbler?
A: Anytime you see the + that means that is the best of that category
you have gotten off that AP. In this instance the SNR+ would be the
best Signal to Noise Ratio that you have gotten off that AP and the
Signal+ and Noise+ would be the highest signal and lowest noise from
that AP.

I think you can decode the rest.
