Default Sometimes very slow or not finding router at all

x-no-archive:
My router seems to be cutting my connection to almost nothing about
half the time or not connecting at all. And often my router is not
showing up when I view available routers in the area (although others
DO). No amount of refreshing helps. I have to go over and physically
power cycle the router in order for it to be accessible again. This
has been driving me INSANE for weeks now.

I should add I have a D-link dI-524 router.

Defective power supply?
IIRC These came with either a 7.5V, 1A linear or a 5V, 2.5A switcher.
Both run hot.
Try to find a similar unit to test with.

Revision A, C, D or E?

If its not the PS then maybe a updated flash will help?

I think it's interference from other routers, microwaves, portable
phones, etc. Apparently there is nothing that can be done. What a
drag as it is getting worse. Today I couldn't find my router for 8
hours.
