This is a wonderful product, it is as accurate and fast as it claims to be. It is very sensitive though, the metal is soft and prone to scratches and rusting, keep it well oiled and it will serve you well.
This product was as represented and brand new, I saved money and delivery time from buying through Amazon and not a local supplier.
For the best in precision leveling equipment, the Machinist's Precision level is perfect. At 0.005" per foot, this level is more than adequate for sensitive mechanical machine set-up.

The Starrett 6-Inch Precision Machinist's Level has ground and graduated main vials and includes a cross test vial. The base of the level features an involute groove running the length of the base that provides a reliable seat for round work.
