Default Wanadoo/Orange screws up my wireless

Hi. Hope someone can help me with this.
I'm in France for a month where I have a Wanadoo high-speed ADSL modem
with a Dell Latitude laptop, Win Xp.

After I installed Wanadoo, my wireless no longer can connect when I go
elsewhere-- it seems that Wanadoo has taken over completely all my
internet access.

Can anyone suggest where I can get help to fix this, or what to look
for? I tried uninstalling all the
Wanadoo components I could find under Add/Remove programs, but there
were still some Wanadoo
services that began at start-up.

thanks
