Westell Model 327 W: Limited Range

Verizon DSL provides the Westell Model 327, which works well only in the
room where it sits in wireless mode. Is there a signal booster for this
model? What about a better transmitting antenna? My laptop tells me that a
neighbor has a wireless network but my own fails within the house!!!
