Wifi in Spain

What system is used in Spain .... g,b or a ? and is it the same frequency as
UK ?

In Spain, the same channels (1-13) and power levels for b and g are used as in the UK.
Frequency/channel number relationships are standard everywhere. Just the allowed channels change. My
information is that the 5 GHz channels (IEEE802.11a) are not authorized there; however, the EC
countries are standardizing. Where Spain is in that process, I don't know.
