Annoying Sony Ericsson W850I problem

Hi all.
This 2 month old phone is being annoying. I am running the latest
update but it randomly freezes when downloading pictures from the
Internet, and when transferring files to another phone via Bluetooth.

It has a 1GB Pro Duo card, but this problem does not happen if any of
the following conditions exist.

a) there is less than 500MB of data on the card
b) the card is not installed

Any ideas? Sony are being less than helpful about this and so are
NSEW.

Restart the phone occasionally.. Take the card out and put it back in while
the phone is off.
