CDMA Pre-Paid Telstra customers- Optus offers ME to keep MY existing mobile number if I move to Optus Net?

phone number if I move over to their mobile network before the 28 Jan
2008..

Telstra you send me a letter telling me how bad it I'll be after the
28 January 2008.

Telstra mobile you should know there are other carriers out there
who are prepared to give me my existing mobile phone number just
before the 28 Jan 2008.

Yep, they have to allow you to keep your number by law.
