Default Delivery Reports

Its been a few years since I last used delivery reports because they
were annoying but the Nokia I have now stores them all in a separate
folder so I turned the delivery reports back on.

I receive the pending reports but I never receive the Delivered report.

Do the networks no longer allow these reports?

IIRC, Vodafone is the only Australian carrier supporting them
(ie, for messages lodged via a Vodafone SMSC). They used to be
free, but Vodafone started charging for them ages ago.

Not too sure about cross-network reports, but I know Telstra are doing
them at 5c a pop.

The network the SMS receiver is on should be irrelevant.

If you don't want these reports...call customer service for advice or
read the user's manual. In any case the solution is done via the
handset itself
