I guess you probobly get sent Premium SMS messages, then paid a
fraction of what was debited out of your account. Handy for people
with company mobiles, I guess.
I've heard of another affiliate SMS scheme at www.freebiesms.co.uk for
sending SMS? any ideas about this one?

Several things to consider with so called free SMS sites. One is the
can't or won't guarantee the service, if it busy it will either be
delayed or maybe even just drop the message.
Also privacy is an issue, what are they going to do with your details?
They have to make money somehow to pay for those SMS's. Are they going
to SPAM your phone or the people you send messages to? Or are they
going flog number and the people you send messages to those Premium SMS
scammers?

I've yet to meet an Aus telco that charges 50c for a SMS, perhaps you could
enlighten me?

Naughty.
An MMS is not a short message

Semantics.
An MMS is not an SMS, and an international SMS is not considered a normal
SMS by most people.
