What evidence, a few cows farting in a paddock? A few power stations? A few
cars? A few scientists who work for the government or green peace? How small
do you thing this planet is. You have large illusions of grandeur if you
think the population can cause such dramatic changes as global warming.
Polluters, we are, but we havent the skill (or ignorance) to change the
climate.

The governments will receive a major windfall with global waming, John
Howard has already stated he wants to bring in a carbon tax.

You are totally ignorant if you think we do. How did we cause global warming
on Mars with only a few visits? What about the global warming that has been
detected on Jupiter, Saturn, Venis, Murcury, even Pluto.
Get a life, this is the biggest con of all time. A government cannot govern
without loyalty or scare tactics.

Sure, he's willing to profiteer from it but he isn't willing to make changes
that will reduce emmissions in the long term.
That is simply because he's a short term visioned profiteer (in great
Australian tradition) with no regard to the long term future of this nation.
Australia could be a pioneer in alternative energy sources and develop a
whole industry around that but lets just keep digging crap out of the ground
instead because monkeywork is more profitable in the short term whilst the
brain drain continues...

More psuedo-science to support an irrelevant arguement. None of those
planets have an environment anything like our own.

Nonsense, governments have been trying their hardest to avoid this issue for
a long time.
Next you will be telling us that humanity hasn't caused wholesale
destruction of natural environments and species... the two are linked,
undeniably and causes have been identified with hard evidence. You can pull
any psuedo-science out of your arse to support your own wacky theories but
you can't get away from the cold hard facts that have been presented by
real, independant scientists who know what they are talking about.

Sure, we didn't all turn into Slavs, Greeks, Italians, English etc etc.
The same kind of concerns are raised every time, mostly because of fear
through ignorance of other cultures.
Go onto any

Most are foreign students.

Wrong, most never intend to return.

No evidence to support that in the case of foreign students.
There is little that can be done about it (if that is

Wrong, most work hard at jobs that "Aussies" find undesirable, same as all
other immigrant groups in the past.
, as the capitalist ruling class (of which

That can be had cheaper in developing nations, like China.

How can all the planets warming up at the same time be irrelevant? It just
proves that global warming is a natural cycle that is continually happening.
It has always happened and always will. The environment has nothing to do
with it, the plain fact is that the solar system is warming and then the
entire solar system will cool, then warm then cool. . . . . .

These so called scientists are under the employ of governments and
greenpeace. The real scientists are already changing there tune to the cause
of solar system warming.

No, independant scientists. Greenpeace, government, oil companies and anyone
else getting paid off are irrelevant, the hard independant research is
pretty conclusive.
The real scientists are already changing there tune to the cause

Real as in those paid off by those with other agendas, sure. But they are
not independant and are paid to skew their science. You are incredibly naive
to be tricked by the psuedo-scientists whos only aim is to sow the seeds of
doubt with negative propaganda rather then provide any real evidence.

No why? I'm a realist that isn't trying to pretend that humanity isn't
causing some serious environmental destruction.
More efficient energy use and lower emissions are beneficial to everyone
regardless of your stance on global warming, so why oppose it?.

Maybe you should go to the psuedo NASA site and have a look around for a
start. One, maybe two other planets going through global warming may be a
coincidence, but most of the solar system is NOT. As I stated befor, a lot
of YOUR reputable scientists are starting to change sides and look at the
whole picture now rather than just this little spec of dust in the universe.

You may have noticed in an earlier post, that I dont agree with the polution
we are spewing out. The human race is guilty of many, many things, dont go
blaming us for something that is way too powerful for even us to control.
