I have a ZTE850.
I get good numbers in the coverage thingy.
In fact, I get a full five bars on my wireless internet connection.
But, with the phone, I get complaints that my transmission is soft and
fades.
I hear the other party, ok.
So, on Monday, I rang the you-beaut 1800 number.
After 58 minutes on my ZTE (will I pay for that?) it was agreed that
the phone wasn't suited to my location.
Someone will ring me "within 10 days" to organize a "blue tick" (I
thought they were American hunting dogs) phone replacement.
Next problem,I suspect, will be delivery.
Last four Telstra packages came by courier....."guaranteed delivered
to my door".
Each time, courier dumped the package at my post office and I had to
collect.
Seems the 4 klm trip off the nearest main road is just too far.
PO is 15 klms for me.
These days, I don't have a car. Have to rely on landlord's truck to
shop at weekends. No PO at weekends.
So, I guess, if the phone isn't delivered as promised, I will let it
go.
Funny thing is that the ZTE was a replacement for a Moto V3X that
Telstra sold me before NextG was rolled out.
Selling point was all the fun I could have when NextG came in.
Of course it doesn't work on NextG.
No worries....Moto works fine with my Optus GSM SIM.
