pin for credit on mastercard

It is now possible to enter a pin number instead of having to sign
for Mastercard credit card purchases in Australia. So you can dust
off that pin code that they sent you 10 years ago and actually use it.

Visa was done 2 years ago apparently.

You still need a terminal that supports that, but most seem to
already. If you press "enter" you will be asked to sign, as usual.
But if you type in your pin number, no more stupid pieces of
paper! Your Woolies experience can be that little bit more
efficient.

'bout freakin' time. Been able to do this in other countries for years.

I've got a PIN on my VISA, havent seen any merchant that accepts it though

I don't believe that. Don't you have to press enter when prompted
for your pin code currently?

What does it have to do with mobiles? You might want to buy a
mobile phone using your credit card.

for your pin code currently?

They don't specifically advertise that it's accepted, but it works.

Wonder if we are talking about the same thing, I'm talking about credit card
transactions using PIN
