Yesterday while out and about we wandered into the local Telstra shop. My
wife wanted to have a quick look at a couple of handsets and I wanted to
compare the Motorola Vx phones.
While the place was packed we browsed. But time ran out so we left without
being able to chat to someone. However, I noticed a flyer on the wall
about moving to a 36mth NextG contract if the phone is bundled on your
home bill. Now, that doesn't sound all that attractive, I s'pose but the
offer was allowing you to finalise a 24mth contract while still having 6
months to go. Which is my case.
Presumably there are no ETPs (Early Termination Penalties).
I have browsed the Telstra website but haven't found any info on this
promotion. I'm wondering if it's a store-by-store thing.
Any of you guys know?
