I hear they are crappy phones. Many customers are unhappy with them.

Yeah, fortunately the guy in the Telstra shop tipped me off to the fact
that they're complete rubbish and don't work properly a lot of the time -
i might have ended up with one otherwise.

The post office here has had lots of them returned cos they don't work.
