Telstra aims to get push-to-talk technology that needed push with the launch
of the TalkNow ZTE 159 phone; a 3G tough phone built for the outdoors that
comes with an assisted GPS feature and a new Talk Now function that
instantly turns the phone into a walkie talkie.
The ZTE 159 is perfect all-around phone for manufacturing, trade,
construction, and even transport industries who have a lot of 'on the field'
users.
In addition to the AGPS function and Talk Now function, it also comes with a
Xora TimeTrack function that can track any device connected to your
'network' by logging in to the Xora website. By activating 'Shift Start' on
the mobile device, users will be logged on to the network and can be
immediately tracked down by any office supervisor or administrator who
visits the Xora website.
The Xora TimeTrack also allows a supervisor to schedule and/or dispatch jobs
for a mobile user. In this way, users can immediately download all assigned
or available jobs and see all the corresponding job details. It is also a 3G
unit that connects to Telstra's Next G network, providing users with
blistering uploading and downloading speeds.

Yes, Parky is a pretty useless prick all round.
What is he - some sort of Tel$tra employee, forever loyal to Sol?
ZTE? That well-known manufacturer of high class mobile phones? You
haven't mentioned what percentage of them work for more than a couple of
days.
After the trouble that ZTE NextG phones caused tel$cum, i would have
thought they would have dropped that manufacturer like a hot brick. But
now, not tel$cum - constantly working to give the customer the worst
possible experience.

So from your postings, Tel$tra seems always above criticism?

Too true. The yanks, particularly the rabid red neck let's newk all of
them types use this bullshit line when they try to quell dissent about
bombing the crap out of sovereign countries and then invading them in the
name of "democracy".
Then, when someone who they didn't vote for gets elected, say, one of the
current Democrat nominee hopefuls, you an bet your last chitlins that
they'll try and do a JFK on him/her.
Yep, they like democracy, but only THEIR kind.

Hey Parkingham, why didn't you post the article about Telstra being bent
over in the High Court of Australia?

Push to talk is the invention of the devil. Not only do you have to put up
with the loud mouth asshole on the phone next to you but you have to put up
with their friend/relly on the other end too. The only answer is to lean
over and yell "Shut the fuck up!" into the phone.
It was bad enough putting up with it when I lived in the US, surely we don't
have to put up with it here.

I can only imagine how horrible that would be I really hope this doesn't
become widespread.

Knowing the reputation of ZTE, it more than likely can't! Tel$tra brag
about compatability and quality standards and they let that shit on
their network, but rejected the Nokia N95. Why because they couldn't
squeeze the price they wanted out of Nokia, nothing to do with quality!

Like crap you are Parkington! Face facts, you are the Mixican Arse
Bandits bum boy.
Do you really think Mexican Arse Bandits are keeping Tel$tra funds in
Australia? Not likely, it is going into their US bank accounts.

Some of the Telstra-bashing that goes on in this group is really quite
stupid.
