Telstra's Website - like anything it touches - such a mess
As the subject header suggests, what a nightmare to navigate. Much like the
fucked AFL website and to a similar degree the V8superwanker website.
Tonight I tried to find info on a NextG plan for my brother in law, who up until
last week has only ever "owned" a company supplied mobile. Now that he is
seeking other opportunities my sister is looking for a suitable mobile for him.
I suggested NextG if he wants to get good coverage for his trips out of the
metro area. She asked about video calling. I didn't know so I visited the
website.
Where, I looked at the $50 capped plan I scroleld down to the video call rates.
There was a link to another page. I clicked on it. It presented a page that
spouted how "fantastic" that video calling was, but nowhere in the page or any
links off it could I find how much a video call actually costs.
I ended up suggesting to her that maybe he's better off with 3 and on its $29
plan which offers better value, but the coverage isn't as good for 3G and GSM
isn't a patch on NextG outside of the metro or even regional urban areas.

The things that come to those who wait will be the
scraggly junk left by those who got there first.

However like anything ... they don't care...even the Mex.
