Default Three roaming on Next G

Does anyone know if Three is going to continue to market phones that
will roam onto the Telstra Next G UTMS 850 network?

With Three and Vodafone co-branding, seems Three is planning to use
the Vodafone UTMS 900 network. But Rod can tell me I am an idiot.

I don't want to get a new Three phone that is MEGA 3G (Next G roaming)
and be locked into a 2 year contract, if the roaming agreement is to
cease.

Then get a phone that has both 850Mhz and 900Mhz 3G such as the Apple
iPhone. That way you are covered no matter which way they go.

Correction: Apple iPHone 4. The iPhone 3GS and 3G only cover 850MHz and
2100MHz in Australia. The iPhone 4 covers 850MHz, 900MHz and 2100 MHz in
Australia.

Useless if 3 doesnt allow roaming to NextG.
