He never mentioned firmware, the unlock code is just typed into the screen
and three will give it to you.

i mean.. yes.. he did mention firmware. I need to read more before replying.
3 will give you the unlocking code for the N95. I've been told (but not
tried) that if you change your provider in a menu on the phone then do a
nokia update it will load thier firmware.

not true.

3 WILL UNLOCK phones if you provide a bullshit reason like I travel and need
other sim cards.

they did it immediatelly with my crappy 6288.
