NATIVE IM - Servers doubt

I have a MTK chipset phone that has native IM client but I can´t connect to MSN messenger directly using the server http://messenger.hotmail.com:1863. Does anyone know whether it is possible to directly access MSN, GTalk, YahooMessenger using a native client? Or this is possible only with a hosting service like Palringo, eBuddy, etc...
