I dont know about anyone else but using a randomly generated number to login REALLY necessary?
Sure I see why you would want something like that, but for a forum of this size?

meh, might just be me being lazy.

Keeps the bots away Besides, it's built into the CMS no extra config needed.

how annoying is it?

you only need to login once if you enable cookies... then subsequent times you load the wireless.geek.nz site you'll already be logged in :wink:

I've been off this site for a few months ever since the login security code system was broken during the last site upgrade. It would only work for me in IE, and I'd rather give myself a lobotomy than use IE. Since it wouldn't display in Opera or Firefox I gave up. But I was told it had been been fixed now, and hooray, it has been! But I have to say that even though I see the need for it, the code system is still a pain in the butt.
