Default pre-encrypted web pages

Is anybody aware of a system where you upload pre-encrypted pages to
your server and then are able to browse them normally only if you have
the right key?

I'm figuring on some sort of combination of encryption tool and
decryption browser plug-in. The idea is that you encrypt the page and
upload it. Then, when you want to browse the page, you'd need to
supply a key for it otherwise the page would come up as gibberish. So
as far as the server and network are concerned, it's just like any
other page out there.

I'm aware of SSL. This doesn't provide for encryption on the server
itself. I've also considered some sort of encrypted network file
system. I haven't seen one that would work well over the internet
though (although I'd be happy to hear of them).

So, any ideas?

It's possible that FireGPG may do what you want:

http://firegpg.tuxfamily.org/

Although I'm not sure how well the user interface would work out for
your purposes; not having used this extension myself, I don't know
whether it can automatically decrypt content for which it has the
key, or whether the user would have to enter his or her GPG
passphrase on each page load.

Generally speaking, I'd look for some browser extension
incorporating either GPG or OpenSSL.
