Default security settings prohibit copying or moving files from this zone.

Hi,

If this is the wrong group could someone point me in the right direction
please.

win 2k pro, SP4 plus all the patches - latest were downloaded yesterday.

Athlon 1GHz, 512 Mb ram, 50 GB free disc space.

zonealarm 5.5.094

I tried to copy a file from

C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files

and a box came up saying

your current security settings prohibit copying or moving files from
this zone.

I don't think this has ever happened before!!

Where can I change the setting, just for a few minutes to copy the file
I want.

Hi
Have you thought to change the security settings on IE? Since your
error message says verbatim: your current security settings prohibit
copying or moving files from this zone

that can mean only one thing, your security setting at IE don't allow
such an action. Try to lower the security level.
