>>>>
>>>> Can anybody give some tips ? Thanks.
>>>
>>> What do you mean, SMS to PC? You can send an sms to an email address,
>>> or
>>> you can send an SMS through an "inbound sms relay" to a web site.
>>>
>>> But in each case, your PC needs an internet connection to access the
>>> message. I don't know how to make do without.
>>>
>>> Greg
>>
>>Once an SMS is recieved on a mobile phone, I want a PC to read it (of the
>>phone is connected to the PC).
>
> Have you tried Nokia PC Suite or Nokia OVI Suite?
>
> Chris

No. Just to see anybody can offer some tips.

I shall look into Nokia PC Suite or Nokia OVI Suite. Thanks.

I have almost no room on the internal memory on my 5800.
Nokia Maps and Mail for Exchange takes more and more of the memory.
And there is no choice to install any of them on the memory card
instead.

Even worse, programs like QuickOffice and Adobe Reader LE also ignores
my OVI Store settings and install themselves to internal memory even
if I have selected to install on memory card.

And now the norwegian 1881 mobilsøk (auto number search and phone
directory service) also installs to internal memory without asking
where to install :-(

What is the use having a huge memory card when everything installs to
internal memory?

Is there a way to force programs to install to the memory card?
Any setting? Something I can do with the SIS/SISX file?
Something I could do in OVI Suite or Oxygen Phone Manager?
>
> Yes, some people seem to like paying a premium for their ignorance or
> unwillingness to learn a UI, Symbian is not rocket science.
>
No, but just try and set up SIP!
>
>> Well they probably need to improve their marketing, but they certainly
>> need
>> to improve their usability. My N79 should have supported VOIP using SIP,
>> but rumour had it that it was slugged out of the phone to suit network
>> providers - even on SIM free phones bought in Nokia's shop. A couple of
>> upgrades later and an awful lot of configuration later (and I am fairly
>> techie) and it eventually works - indeed it even works when it is not
>> supposed to over 3G.
>
> Somehow, the N95 and N82 seem to be the last really popular Nokia models.
> Both were built tough and people still swear by them. After the N97
> fiasco, Nokia really need the N8 to succeed.
>
The multi-media key fell off my N79 after nine days and was "not covered by
the warranty Sir", despite buying it from a Nokia shop.

It needs to be pretty bullet proof.
