Check ESN - we can check your ESN makes sense if you're a business. You could argue that it's too expensive, but think about it this way. On the one hand, you could be paying a person $9 an hour and having him make an average of 18 ESNs check an hour by phone or chat (since a rep can only make 3 checks before he gets fed up for very 10 minute session). Based on that rate, you would have to pay about $250 for him to spend 27 hours on the phone to check 500 ESN's, instead of paying CheckESN $497. But then again, if you are a big enough company that's constantly dealing with large quantities, you clearly do not have time to wait 27 business hours between shipments. So the cost does justify itself since it only takes a few minutes to get feedback.
However, if you're just some guy who can't get a job and is selling used phones out of his mom's house, then you wouldn't need it.
