Thumbs up Location-as-a-Service
In case you missed the LBS news today, LOC-AID announced that they are able to locate more than 300M mobile devices in North America and Mexico. They added Verizon Wireless last month and it looks like they’ve added AT&T as well, this week. They claim the ability to locate both smartphones and feature phones… all without any app download. Obviously the carriers have woken up. About time. The Googles of the world need to pay attention.
