From where I can buy new mobile phone for my mom. I am planning to gift on her 40th birthday.

contact tmobile for the answer their customer service should be able to assist you i wouldnt see why you cant switch services without loosing the number as long as you have had it a while also tmobile is able to unlock phones now so that they can be used with any service provider so check on that to while you have the customer service rep on the phone
