Nokia 6086 WiFi phone with SBC 2wire router

I just ordered the Tmobile nokia 6086 WiFi phone to use in my home. I currently have wireless internet with SBC and use the 2wire router they supplied.

TMobile suggested I order the Linksys router they are offering but I declined because I felt confident that the 2Wire would serve the purpose of connecting the phone also. Now, I'm not so sure and just want someone's input on this issue.

Is there a limit to the number of wireless connections that can connect thru the router?
