Basic info please

hey i jst registered here, and im real real curious to this whole wireless lan setup.
ur trying to get loads of people wif Wireless gears to have.. a constant wireless lan? am i right?

that's the general idea. We're really trying to get alot of ppl connected together on a wireless lan, starting with connecting people to access points, then connecting access points together, and then connecting cities together (long term goal)

think of it like a mini internet

sounds like a bloody good idea
and what hardware would you need to start up?
could i jst buy the stuff, install, and get on the lan?
