Question Boosting Dell Studio XPS Internal Wireless

I have a Dell Studio XPS 1340 with internal WLAN (half-size Mini-Card), WWAN, Mini-Card with Bluetooth wireless technology, UWB Mini-Cards, WWAN ExpressCard and Bluetooth wireless technology.

I would like to add on a booster for the wireless capabilities since my signal reception is poor where I am living at this time.

When I used a Verizon air card (no longer using that), I also used a Wilson Cellular Trucker Antenna to boost reception. Can I use that to boost my wireless connection direct to my built in cards? If not, is there another antenna that I can use? Is there another way to boost my reception?

Thanks in advance.

Paul

Exclamation

hmm ... that's all very well, Mark, but I'd like something in plain English.

The link you posted is just double-Dutch to me and does not help me, as a user, at all.

In fact, it did not really answer any of the questions in my original posting.
