ASUS definitely makes some of the better routers on the market right now. The only issues I've ever had with ASUS routers, and really all routers in general, is that the hardware works fine, but the firmware is terrible. I'm testing out the RT-N66U right now, and it's working very well. I'm just waiting for some DDWRT firmware to be released, which I've heard is currently in the works.
The RT-N16, however, already has DDWRT firmware avaliable for it. If your looking for some stable, fast firmware with a crazy amount of features, DDWRT is definitely worth checking out. You can download it from the link below. Router Database | www.dd-wrt.com |
