I'll be honest I don't know much about hardware and I've never really had to do anything with my wireless network before. But we've just moved into a bigger place and the older router doesn't seem to cover the range.
I've tried moving the repeater position around and randomly changing the channels to see if that helps but I'm told the distance just needs a wireless repeater or something. Problem is there's a lot of them out there so I can't really decide what one to get. I've seen this one Best Wireless Repeater | Wifi Repeaters Boosters and Range Extenders suggested around the place does anyone have any advice?
I just need something basic which can cover an extra three rooms or so through some pretty thick old walls. Thanks for any advice!
Repeaters really dont really work that well you are better off to connect a high power access poitn to your router and disable the wireless in the router.
