Hey all I was hoping u guys could guide me in the right direction. First I will explain my fun lil project Im building. I am currently in the process of building a mobile comm station for emergency situations. I got a flat bed trailer im using to build on. Its got a comm building (glorified shed) built on it with a 20ft comm tower on the front off the trailer and space for a generator and deep cycle batterys and dc to ac converter. plan on placing solar panel on top of shed to recharge battery in case generator down and no ac power hookup. My question is for my wifi setup im gonna run a omni directional antenna on top and a foot or so below mount my parabolic and want both ran into my alfa network adapter. how do I connect two antennas to one adapter? is there a 2 to 1 deal thats made for wifi? I couldnt find anything or do I gotta try to run a adapter to each antenna which would be a pain. I also am gonna have am/fm/shortwave, cb, and digital/analog tv antennas hooked up to this tower. Any help or suggestions would be great. yes I know thats alot of antennas and theres gonna be interference.
you lose 3.5 db both ways, transmit and receive. works either way; split two antennas off one source, or combine two sources on one antenna. if you combine two sources use different channels
