Dualband Wireless N

Hiya,

I need to link 2 buildings together as well as provide client access in each building.

Are there any dualband N APs out there that allow both bands to be used at the same time. Ie 2.4GHz for client access and 5GHz for the bridge.

Or would it be better to use seperate, independent devices from a performance perspective?

OK, after a lot of digging I found this DGND3300 - RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N DSL Gateway

But reading through the manual it clearly states that you must use no or WEP security if using any of the WDS mode, ie what I need to use!

I'm absolutely disgusted that this is still the case, as for business who need to do this want their data as secure as possible.

Not being funny, but what's the point in releasing something insecure, especially when WEP can be cracked in under a minute.

Sometimes I wonder if some manufacturers have even half a brain!
