Hello everyone,
My name is Paul and I'm trying to set up a point to point connection for the first time. I have 2 homes that the home owner has said are roughly 2000' apart, I'm building for roughly 1/2 mile to be sure I can make it. This is in a semi rural area in south eastern Michigan and I have LOS between the two houses over a cow pasture and a hayfield. My goal is a simple sharing of internet services between the two buildings. I have done a little research and I think I'm on the right track but having called a few vendors none of them will tell me if I can expect their equipment to work with out a site survey. So, I'll list my equipment below and would appreciate any feedback about whether or not I could expect a high or low likelihood of success as well as any suggestions on whether I've overbuilt or under-built my project or if there are ways to keep the price down.
