internal battery replacement for hp pavillion ze4500

I need to find out how to change the internal battery on my laptop. It is a hewlett packard pavillion ze4500. I tried to look for the specs at the hp site but was unable to find them, they tell me I have to take it to an authorized hp service center for this to be done. I think that is BS and that they just want to make $$$ off this service and any other services they can. Can anyone help with this info?

I couldn't see much about the battery but it gives detailed disassembly instructions. It will either be a standard lithium button cell that most electronics retailers can supply off the shelf, or it will be a proprietry shrink-wrapped one with a fly lead.

If it is the latter you are probably best to order a replacement from HP quoting the part number on it as lithium batteries can be tempremental at best and you don't want to end up with it starting a fire.
