Default Outdoor wireless

im trying to expand wifi from my house to my dock which is about a quarter mile away, but at the bottom of a hill (not line of sight). i currently have a linksys N router in my house and want to try and install two or three "boosters" between my house and the dock. i have power along the way, so that is not an issue, i just need to know what i need to buy and how to go about configuring it. looking to keep cost fairly reasonable as well.

Thanks!!

Lightbulb

Linksys WRT54G with DDWRT firmware. Buy 3 routers, costing approx 50 dollars each, and use WDS to bridge the routers together through wireless, no cables other than power. Use it here at home, and it works great.

i agree with cgen79

i just did the same and it is easy and efficient i got my routers off of ebay the thing i found is that the v8 wrt5g's do not have removable antennas so get a v7 or older so you can put a larger db antenna on with a N type connection
