Greetings!
I've been playing around with the idea of connecting standard TV with VGA input to my laptop via Bluetooth or some other wireless means. And before I begin buying all the equipment I was hoping to get some feedback.
Reasons for doing so:
1) I have a lot of HD movies on my laptop
2) My laptop is located on the other side of the room and running a cable would be a pain.
3) No need to buy a DVD player
The end result I'm trying to achieve is to have my TV mimic my display so that every audio/video I play also shows up on the TV.
Couple of ways I was thinking of doing it:
1) Bluetooth (about $80)
I came across this device called aircable AIRcable.net - Products - Serial Mini OS
In theory it should be connected to the TV via 9 to 15 pin adapter. Than connection with my laptop should be establiahed and I should be set.
2) Video transmitter (about $80)
Less elegant way than the first one but I think it is more likely to work.
Setting up a video transmitter connecting it to my pc (it has S-video output) and connecting it to the TV

3) Usb hub (about $250)
Setting up a USB hub and using VGA to usb cable to connect my TV.

Factor I'm considering is primarily speed of video transfer, since usb hub will also allow me to hide my external storage devices. Please let me know which one of the solutions seems to be most logical and workable. Thanks!
